TRANSFORM
A great education depends on great educators. We begin by empowering educators to become the passionate, purposeful, well-resourced leaders they need to be in order to bring their visions for teaching to life.
Transformational Progression
We start with a focus on Transformation of Self, which gives educators mindfulness, yoga, and wellness tools to reduce teacher stress and burnout, increase emotional intelligence and performance, and enhance overall well-being. Through this foundational aspect of training, educators learn and experience the power of self-care, self-love, and self-transformation.
From this foundation of personal well-being, our Yoga Teacher Trainings move into Transformation of Relationships, which equips teachers with tools to improve communication skills, develop empathy and compassion, and cultivate a mindful awareness in relationships. Through Transformation of Relationships, educators learn to communicate with integrity, express their authenticity, and find strength in vulnerability.
We then move into Transformation of Community, which empowers and prepares educators to use wellness as a vehicle for positive change in their schools, organizations and surrounding communities. During this aspect of training, educators learn how to make wellness and social emotional learning practices inclusive, culturally relevant, and trauma informed in order to create a more socially just and peaceful world.
Finally, we move into the last stage of our transformational cycle, Integration and Renewal, to take time and space to reflect upon and integrate everything we’ve learned throughout our journey to prepare ourselves to begin the next cycle of transformation. During this time, we celebrate the incredible growth we’ve undergone, appreciate the beautiful insights, relationships, and experiences we’ve cultivated, and tap into our endless source of inspiration to prepare for new beginnings as Breathe For Change Wellness Champions.

Social-Emotional Learning & Facilitation (SEL*F)
Social-Emotional Learning has exploded in the past few years due to its essential value for both student wellness and academic learning. However, most SEL curriculums fail to live up to the hype because they overlook one simple, essential truth: students learn SEL skills when educators model and embody them, not when they simply talk about them.
Our CASEL-aligned, developmentally differentiated SEL*F Curriculum achieves real social-emotional and academic outcomes, because we train teachers to develop their own SEL skills so they can effectively teach them to students.
Lead With Love: Be a Wellness Champion
Our alumni become champions of well-being in their classrooms, schools, and communities to create ripple effects of transformation throughout the education system. We provide ongoing resources, support, and professional development to empower our educators as leaders of love to grow the movement and create the lives and careers they dream of.
