As we reflect on an incredible year, we celebrate you — our extraordinary community of educators. Your unwavering commitment to wellness, inspiration, and connection has transformed countless classrooms and lives. Since our journey began in 2015, over 100,000 educators have joined this movement, positively impacting more than 20 million students. Together, we’re shaping the future of education, and we’re just getting started!
Highlights from 2024
Became Accredited to Give You the Credit You Deserve.
This year marked the launch of our accredited Master’s of Education, a first-of-its-kind degree program empowering educators to advance their careers, earn higher salaries, and gain the recognition they deserve. With over 300 practicum projects already underway, our Master’s students are driving transformational change in schools and communities nationwide.
Proven to Reduce Chronic Absenteeism
Our programs now meet ESSA Level II moderate research standards, validating their impact on educator well-being and student outcomes. Among our findings:
+ Reducing Chronic Absenteeism: Our programs significantly reduce absenteeism across K-12 students, with even greater results among those previously identified as chronically absent.
+ Improving Student Outcomes: Educators trained by Breathe For Change are transforming classrooms by fostering better student engagement, mental health, and academic performance.
Record-Breaking Conference Attendance
This year, over 40,000 educators worldwide registered for our free virtual conferences including TeacherCon and our Wellness & SEL*Festival.
These 3-day professional development events focused on fostering belonging, understanding the science behind SEL, and prioritizing well-being with the seven types of rest.
Global Reach: 15,000+ Certified Educators
Since 2015, we’ve grown from a small group of 34 educators to a global movement of over 15,000 certified educators. Representing all 50 U.S. states and beyond, our graduates are creating ripple effects that transform classrooms and communities worldwide.
